Top Of The Pops, was a 1-hour music program (radio, not TV) hosted weekly by Brian Matthew, featuring recordings previously aired on BBC radio in the U.K.

Most of these recordings had Mathew's infuriating habit of making comments, mostly idiotic, over the beginning and ending of the songs.
